Tap ("the app") lets two people send each other small feelings — a heart, a hug, a good-night — privately. This policy explains what the app stores and why. The short version: your taps are visible only to you and the one person you connect with. There are no public profiles, no feeds, no ads, and we do not sell data.
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Messaging) operated by Google LLC. Access rules enforce that only the two members of a relationship can read its data.
You control how much a notification reveals on your lock screen (Full / Private / Secret) inside the app's settings.
Disconnecting a relationship (Settings → Disconnect) deletes the relationship and its tap history for both people. Because accounts are anonymous, reinstalling the app abandons the old account. For any data deletion request, contact us and we will remove the associated records.
Tap is not directed at children under 13 and should not be used by them.
